We are a graduate medical education consortium that trains physicians to become specialists via residency training.

Description
We are looking for a new diploma design to be used for graduating residents -- doctors completing their specialty training, e.g. psychiatrists, family practice doctors, etc. We are interested in something modern but refined. 11x14 in landscape. Two examples will be included for review, one of the current diploma for WiNC, and the other a diploma for the Medical College of Wisconsin. Many examples of other medically related diplomas are available to see on google.
The current WiNC diploma is fairly casual, while the MCW diploma is very traditional. We are hoping for something in the middle, but definitely professional as this will be hanging on the wall of doctor offices. Patients should feel comfortable and confident in their providers training, and this should be relayed in the diploma.
The WiNC logo perfectly represents the consortium's comfortable, collaborative nature. It is playful and colorful with the stethoscope wrapping around the state. Although we love this logo, in regard to the diploma, feel free to adjust its appearance to have it match the document... decrease or eliminate the color, place it inside of a seal (see picture of MCW logo inside of a seal), do something entirely different, leave it off completely, or leave it as is if it fits your vision.
The Wording from either diploma may be used, and/or if you feel something else will be more effective, give it a try.
The final document will need to include the ability for us to change names, specialties, and dates. Also, we are requesting four signature lines. Other than this, color vs. no color, layout, and creativity we will leave up to you.
4/28: I will also add that adding a certificate border is not something we are looking for.... think of a diploma from an institution of higher learning rather than certificate course. Thank you for your participation.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
