I feel like many balloon artist go real cutesy and fluffy, and that is just not my style. I like a modern clean look but also want it to feel fun and witty and maybe even a bit of a retro feel. (Can something be modern and retro at the same time?) Balloons are fun and happy and I don't take myself too seriously. I kind of envisioned having a balloon dog somewhere in the logo, but it's not a deal breaker, I haven't really been able to figure out how I would want it to fit in there. I really want my logo to make people smile when they see it. Balloons make people happy so I want to spark that same bright, colorful, happiness with a little bit of bad ass thrown in, when they see my logo.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
