This is a logo for a blog based around describing the mechanics of how politics and campaigns work at a more local level. It's aimed at candidates for smaller offices, or organizations who might need a better understanding of the political process.

This doesn't focus on federal races, so I would probably avoid overt American flag / Red white blue imagery that sometimes pops up in other politics branding sometimes.
Also note that the word "Operative" can refer to a political operative, but also the word "operative" (meaning functional). If that matters at all.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
