1. The gorilla should look a) strong and b) friendly. We are selling products that are strong and made of high-quality material.
2. Would prefer the gorilla to be front-facing. Would prefer to see the gorilla's upper body only or face/head only. You can make a full-bodied gorilla if you feel it is relevant to your concept.
3. Need a very strong visual identity so that we can get a high level of brand recall
4. It would help if the logo would look great in black & white as well!

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
