Description of the organization and its target audience
SmartCard is an app that is built for mid-sized companies. The app allows employees of the app to easily share a digital business card using NFC chips in cards or with a QR code.
They meet someone, tap the card to a smartphone, and it shares their digital profile with all their information, social accounts, etc. The person they meet can use this same profile to share back their information.
We call this the shareback loop, which could be incorporated into the design. Maybe infinity loop, NOT deadset on that, just to mention for ideation.
The purchaser of the app will be the management - they purchase to be able to get reporting on employee networking, leads, and events they send them to. Whereas traditional business cards to give them any reporting or analytics. So the company will be the buyer, so it should convey some sophistocation while being a tech company still with forward facing branding.
It can be text style logo, we will want an icon with it as well to place on the cards etc.
Here was our first version and a completely different brand and customer, but explains the product from the user perspective - https://mypulsecard.com/ - this was a web app targeted to small business users. However we are now targeting the larger companies to purchase on their behalf for the benefits to the company

Final files
If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
