Modern Connections' mission is to push the edges of visceral movement - provoking personal reflection, conversation, and community transformation. We strive to create the causes and conditions for liberation, pause, and healing; to elevate systemic issues affecting Black and indigenous people; and to shift dance from the margins of society into a prominent visible position for the public. Our tagline is “Where Movement Meets Meaning.”
