About us

（概要） ■佐賀県嬉野温泉にある創業...年の老舗旅館です。 ■この度、リニューアルのため休館し（すでに休館済み）、経営や体制も変えた上で、...年夏にリニューアルオープンする予定です。 ■「元湯」という名称は地場では比較的認知度は高い。ただ、一方で「古い旅館」「昭和風情の旅館」といった印象も持たれがちですので、今回のリニューアルを機に新たな価値も提案したい。 ■旅館のグレードは5段階で表すと（5を最上クラスとして）4です。ただ5を目指したい4です。 ■ちなみに旧名称は「逢花の宿　元湯白珪」でした。（平成元年ごろにこの名称に改称） ■今回「うれしの元湯」に改称します。知名度のある「元湯」を残しつつも、泉質が良いと評価される「嬉野」の湯　それも源泉を持っているという強みから「嬉野」を採用し、柔らかさ「目当りの良さ」から「うれしの」とかな表記としました。（デザインに求めたいもの・デザイン要件など） ■伝統を感じさせつつも、新たな価値も期待できるようなデザイン。 ■旅館ですので当然「和」のイメージですが、ステレオタイプ的な和（単純に筆文字表記）だけではなく、やはり新たな価値を感じさせたい。 ■女性にも訴求できるようなデザイン。かと言って女性女性するわけではない。 ■グレードは前述のように、5を目指す4。そのグレード感も表現したい。ただこの「高級感」も重々しい、男性的過ぎるものではなく、女性の目にもやさしい「上質感」であってほしい。 ■「うれしの元湯」という表記はともすれば軽くなりがちなので、グレード感とのバランスもよろしくお願いいたします。
