Website redesign for Life Coaching Company

We have a new logo – now we need a new website! We want to redesign existing website with web 2.0 concept. Homepage and one inner page required. We are after a professional look and feel that offers us flexibility in changing content. PSD design for website no coding.

2.5 year old Online Life Coaching website is in need of a new design to look more professional, streamlined and fresh. Current site is http://www.clickalifecoach.com , we are already in process creating content for the new site, which uses CMS dotnetnuke. A preview can be found here http://dotnetnuke.clickalifecoach.com .

We would like the design to be motivational and inspirational for our visitors.

Following is required:

Common layout for both pages:

- Width: 1024px
- On top of page we would like some space to display a sentence that identifies the page for us. The text for the home page is “Click A Life Coach – The Online Life Coaching Specialist”
- New banner for the site and incorporate the new logo

- Horizontal menu with up to 8 items, members will have one additional menu element,
- The menu will allow user to hover over the menu and see a submenu if applicable, therefore the design needs to show the color for submenu as well. (for an example see http://dotnetnuke.clickalifecoach.com)
- Breadcrumb to be displayed under Horizontal menu
- Find a place for Login / Register + Search Option in one of the sections above, they can live in different sections.
- Footer Section should display same content than on preview site, we would like to have some space (could be under the footer) to have one line with additional Hyperlinks like “Links, Contact Us, About Us ….”

Home page:

You can refer back to http://dotnetnuke.clickalifecoch.com for the content that will go on the home page, in short the design needs to allow for:

- A larger area, where we display a welcome message or later even a welcome video

- Ideally underneath there needs to be an area that can be divided in four sections that display short text snippets and an image. They are used to show things like: Coach of the month, Article of month, Coaching Modality etc.

- We need a section that displays important links to us like “Book A Coach”, “List Your Business”, “Ask A Coach”, “Take our Love Quiz”

- Other elements required on the home page are Subscribe to newsletter, Events and Testimonials.

Inner Page

- The inner page contains two panes, content pane and sidebar.
- The content pane usually displays mainly text, like an article, description of a coaching modality or displaying a list of coaches etc.

- The sidebar contains a submenu, where the currently selected menu item is highlighted.
- The sidebar also contains areas like “Subscribe to Newsletter”, “Events”, Advertisement or specific information that is relevant to the page. For example when viewing articles this will be article categories. What I am getting at is that the sidebar must cater for the submenu and multiple div elements.
