flexReceipts.com
flexReceipts is a startup web based company founded to eliminate paper receipts and make digital receipts commonplace around the world. Today thermal (paper) receipts are distributed after every purchase. Most consumers don’t ask for these receipts and likely immediately throw them away; creating huge inefficiencies and waste. We will provide merchants a solution to deliver electronic receipts and consumers the ability to manage their receipts from one central website. Now, when a consumer has a need for a receipt they can go online to flexReceipts.com and access it at their own comfort. This makes life easier when managing exchanges, returns, disputes, tax filings, business travel, personal finances, and more. By going to digital receipts we will also be saving many trees, thus helping the environment.

Yes, but it is only for informational purposes. Please do not take any design ideas from this current site. The site is: http://www.omniversegroup.com

Basically, what we like about all of these sites are they are clean and sleek. They are also easy to navigate and intuitive. They use colors that are soothing to the ideas. They also are pretty simple and to the point. If in doubt, please focus more on the side of more simple and intuitive.
In this section we’ll provide a high level overview of which pages we’ll need designed. Please also refer to the file attached titled “flexReceipts Web Wire Frames for Brief” for some additional views on the functionality of each page.
1) Home Page. Should have a short space where we can give a short 2-3 sentence intro on our company. It should have a place where users can log in or create a new account. It should also have a place where we can place a video which plays a short intro on our company. It should have a place where we can put special buttons for social and security links. In addition, there should be a link or an indication of a mobile application for iPhone and iPad (probably with a phone silouehette). Please put a section that shows our users that we have a mobile app (mint.com has an example). This page will likely be the most artistic and should give visitors the feeling of a high tech, professional, and creative company.
2) Lay out for Digital Receipts Detail Page- This is the page where our users will be able to see the detail for their receipts. We are looking for a sleek/cool yet simple background to have on this page. We are also looking up for ways to section the web page to show the receipts detail in a cool/creative manner.
3) Lay out for how it works – This is one example of a webpage where we will describe how our technology works. What is key about this page is that it should flow with the rest of the web pages, but also have images that describe the content we have on here. We will decide at a later date whether or not we will have that content on there, but what is important right now is that we have the background and images to make this page work. The background we are looking for is one that complements the copy and that makes it easy to read. The comments on the sleek/cool still apply.
Please note: The wireframes attached are for functional purposes and NOT FOR DESIGN PURPOSES. This is very important.
Design Liberty: Please take as much artistic freedom as you like within the parameters of our brief.
Don’t feel like you have to use our logo with the tagline every time. Feel free to take off the “lose the paper” tag line when you deem appropriate.
Target Audience
Initially, we feel like the consumers most likely to utilize this service will be younger (predominantly young professionals, college students), highly educated, receptive to green movements, they care about the environment, & technology savvy.
