The global navigation should consist of Home | About Us | Services | Case Studies | Contact Us
I am looking to rebrand my current web freelance site at http:/www.rawdesignr.com into a more complete solution company
It should have an interactive "big header" for the front page and a unique footer. The navigation will remain consistent on the rest of the interior pages, and the big header should be designed so it can minimized so the content of the site will not be pushed down. (The winner of this will be responsible for creating the interior pages)
I would like the front page to really stick out. However, it should NOT be cartoony! It should be professional, possibly with istock photo's.
Take a look at http://healogix.com/ and http://www.creativelogicmedia.com/ for the interactive header. I will be making the header interactive, but you should design with that in mind. The navigation of the interactive header should be: Design, Develop, Deliver. This should be the first thing a user see's without overshadowing other elements of the page. To be crystal clear on this section: When a user clicks on one of the three D's, I will implement a jquery action to slide the new content in. Hence it will be "interactive". So, there needs to be a little section below or above the 3 d's that will have room for me to place an image or text that will slide in within that section.
Each D in the big header should be linked to the overall services my companny offers. The interactive header MUST be on top of everything else. Take a look at http://www.healogix.com/ for an idea of what an interactive header would function like. For each D in the top header, I would like to tell the viewer what we offer. The hierarchy should be like this. DESIGN = Content & Design. Development = Development. Support = Support, Hosting & Marketing. This way someone can tell exactly what we do without navigating to another page. I would like the istock photo's to come from this lightbox: http://www.istockphoto.com/file_sea…ID=3433351
Here are other sample sites with big headers:
At the minimum I would like a "sitemap" in the footer. here are the details:
