Web 2.0 design for Nerve Watch

What I do: Interoperative Neuromonitoring. I monitor a patient's nervous system during surgery. It's a check and balance for the surgeon. If he irritates a nerve, I let him know so he can make adjustments as necessary. I can also tell if patient's limbs are falling asleep, if they're light on anesthesia, among other things. How I do it: I put small needle electrodes in their limbs and scalp, send a stimulus from their wrists and ankle up to their brain. The needles record the path of this stimulation and I am able to see a waveform that corresponds to the state of the nerves I am stimulating. These waves are stylized in the logo that I had designed here on 99designs.com. What I need to convey: I provide protection for the patient, doctor and hospital. For the patient, I am an extra layer of security. For the doctor, I can let him know of effects that he cannot visibly see, giving him confidence in moving forward in complex maneuvers. For the hospital, I lower liability and decrease the chance of something going wrong. To do this, I must be knowledgeable, dependable, trustworthy and readily available.

Hello and thanks for your interest. Medical sites are in general very dry and years behind design wise. I want a very updated look that will a) allow the reader to quickly grasp our services and b) grab their attention through the use of contemporary design practices. 1. Focus on usability, interface, and readability. 2. Minimalist and direct. 3. Subtle details. 4. Large, highly legible font choices. 5. Plenty of whitespace and breathing room. 6. Text is either action-oriented or clear, direct statements. 7. All unnecessary elements are removed. This is a brochure site. My business occurs in the operating room, not online. Therefore, there will be infrequent updating of content. So I don't need social/interactive content like: News Blog Newsletter Newsfeed Rotating images Etc. Here is a basic idea of what I want. Feel free to improvise/improve if you wish: Home page - Header: Logo/horizontal menu Row One: Image and byline Row Two: Introductory text/pitch 3 columns for three target audiences: patients, hospitals, and doctors. Usability: - Should be variable width to accommodate different web browsers. - All text should be HTML friendly - I don't want the text to be graphics for search engine purposes.
