Church Guy got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Vintage Church web site
Check out Church Guy's Web page design contest…
We have a logo but need to create a web site for a new church that is starting up in North Carolina. The church is hip, cool, and well ... Vintage.
What's your vision?
Tagline: a timeless message for all generations Desired Color Scheme: Blue greyish-blue and yellow Desired Style: weathered look Accepted File Formats: Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff) This is a new church that is starting up: Here is our logo: http://vintage.reimaginehosting.com/vintage.jpg hi-res version: http://tinyurl.com/2ozpaw As an example, we like this site: http://www.oakleafchurch.com/ We want to have similar navigation and buttons on the right. Use the headings on that example site above for now. We'll change them after the we receive the design files. We like the "weathered look" and would like to incorporate that in the site. The color scheme is that blue in vintage, along with the yellow ("a timeless message for all generations") We're not going to fix the height of the design, like on the design above, so we need some kind of edge that can repeat vertically (which can be tough to do with the weathered look, but you're up to the challenge, right!?) Get creative! Roll with it! Give me an excuse to use two exclamation points!! Looking forward to see what you guys can come up with. Thanks ahead of time.

It all began with a design brief.

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Church Guy collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
