Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The Cell Norbert Zongo for Investigative Journalism in West Africa (CENOZO) is a regional association created to promote investigative journalism in West Africa.
CENOZO is a ground-breaking project for data-based cross border investigations in West Africa, one of its missions is to fund and coordinate regional cross border investigations to create impact and fight against corruption, organized crime, human rights violation and terrorism.
We will be providing trainings and grants as well as coordinating regional investigations.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
We are not 100% set on particular colours but we have the following thoughts on this:
White or gray is a safe and professional bet.
Green and red are colors included among the West African Flags, same as black.
It’s a hard one because it has to be serious and strong but not boring. Appealing for readers to engage in long form investigations.
You can also look at our logo because in the end it needs to suit the colours of the logo as well.
A big images with some of the headlines of projects, key facts (that can take you to regional context in each topic: terrorism, corruption, human rights violation and organised crime) a Twitter feed that updates from our journalists and sources. Here also the logos of the funders OSIWA and the GIJN, the network are part of.
3. Our Members
A page that shows all the members including a profile for each of them. It should feature a map of West Africa and a link to profile of journalists. What to avoid
Avoid curved lines, small photos, small print.
We need a footer with the organizations that support us or networks we are part of.
Social media options should be at the right top of the page.
