Voicly needed a new web page design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 39 designs submitted by 15 freelance designers.
Voicly.com (“tell the world”)
Voicly.com is a voice blog service allowing the users to call a number and record a short message, 30 seconds, and tell the listeners about his or hers successful, ordinary or just boring life. The listeners can also comment on the messages which are all playable through the web.
We already have a simple design & concept but we need it to be more interactive and alive. We want to keep the color scheme of the site. Other than the color scheme we appreciate new ideas and we don’t want to restrict your creativity.
We're targeting similair users as an ordinary micro blog service such as twitter. Our twist is that our users can listen to the voice blog messages anywhere wherever they have a phone.
We want to keep the main concept of the logo, although you are free to add elements to it. The menu next to the logotype needs to be more alive and maybe be better incorporated in to the logo theme.
The body of the front page has some icons that needs to be freshened up/replaced. If you find a better way of presenting our idea here we welcome that. The same thing goes for the right column of the body.
Finally we need a better ending on our site. The footer now is as simple as it can be. We want it to be more creative, like vimeo.com, but please think for yourself and don’t do any replicas!
Wants
