I am attaching these few words below to help get the feel for what we do, this is a short script to a video that will ultimately be included on the website that covers why I am in this business and what we do. I hope this helps..............Bill INTRO My name is Bill Parsons, I founded my company, Mainsail Asset Management, on the conviction that people deserve a better experience from their financial advisor. I help successful families get their entire financial house in order and keep it that way for the rest of their life so they can focus on what is important to them, stop worrying, and enjoy living. (Value Prop) The bottom line is that you deserve a terrific partnership with your financial advisor. You are looking for an advisor that can provide real value and have tremendous impact on helping you realize your goals, someone that goes beyond just optimizing your investment portfolio, a person you can trust to coordinate all areas of your financial equation. When you team up with us, that's the kind of experience you can expect. Follow On You hear a lot these days about fiduciary duty, what is that, who is a fiduciary? Very simply, when somebody takes on the responsibility of managing your money and is not ultimately held accountable, they are not a fiduciary. Everyone should insist on working with a fiduciary. Unfortunately the industry is not built on looking out after clients' best interests, despite what they say on TV or in their brochures. It's hard to tell between those you can trust and those who are simply giving lip service. If you are not sure ask, ask them to sign a piece of paper accepting full fiduciary duty and responsibility for your affairs. I'll bet you that things get interesting at that point. Don't stop there, ask them to explain all the ways they can potentially be compensated in dealing with your accounts. It's eye opening when you begin to understand this. How are we different? Four things differentiate us from other advisors; our passion for eliminating worry, our unique consulting process, the depth of our service promise, and our fiduciary business model. First, Our Passion for Eliminating Worry Life is full of surprises, some good, some bad. Even the most successful families who have high quality attorney's, CPA's, and advisors can have their world thrown into chaos at the blink of an eye. Our process helps clients think clearly and organize what is most import to them. The first step is creating the roadmap, this becomes a guide for living their life on purpose. It then becomes our job to identify the gaps and challenges, and implement the steps to keep them on track to achieving their goals.
