Luke is a great guy and put together some great designs for us. He pays close attention to detail and works closely with the client to ensure all of the project goals are reached. We would definitely work with him again!
How DecysiveDaniel started their web page design journey
We are a technology firm working in the Healthcare & Finance sectors who are trying to build a company that people love to work for and provides a quality service to our clients. We are growing organically by word of mouth and now would love a website that attracts clients who are looking for quality people who love what they do and want to bring cutting edge talent to the table. While we work on a lot of closed source systems... we are pro open-source and look to bring quality open source software to 2 industries that could use the cost savings and update in technology.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We want to attract all niche's of the Healthcare industry.. from large Payers (Blue Cross) to small, local medical & dental practices. We not only provide consulting services, but also managed network services to this sector. We are particularly interested in how the Axial project will effect the Healthcare Industry.
In the Finance world we are looking to attract broker/dealers who have home grown systems that require integration to other systems, require updates and/or maintenance, or new development. We have worked for shops as large as Cantor Fitzgerald but equally enjoy working with smaller firms.
The only hard & fast requirement in that the main content area be 980px wide (Thanks Ar1anna). There should be room on one or both sides of that main content area to accommodate navigation menu's but we have no preference for 2 or 3 column designs. We do have a logo we love... so it's kind of like that faucet commercial where the lady wants a house designed round the faucet.
We like the colors within our logo (in general, blue, white & orange) but the depth and saturation of the color can be changed... but the logo would need to then be re-worked to match. I believe I will be able to attach the logo as well as a masthead that was developed for us but never used (too hard to incorporate into the CSS of Joomla... but we will be developign out own CSS for this project.).
We are looking for a sharp but clean design. What we do like about our current site is that it appears clean... but it's boring. So please bring your creativity to the table and do your best to WOW us. This is going to be our first impression in the coming months as we begin to promote our site... if we don't catch them on the first try we won't get a second try. It must be visually pleasing, easy to navigate and logically organized.
