online ordering for restaurants
At a high level, Page 1 will do two things: a) Introduce the customer to yubiT's online ordering b) Provide information about the restaurants that have signed up for online ordering. Details: This page should have the following: 1. We like to showcase images of food - so we would like to have images displayed prominently and which scroll from left to right across the screen with descriptions (dish, type of cusine, restaurant name). They say a picture says it better than a thousand words and we agree - so images will be an important part of how we show our product/ attract users. 2. A how it works section which describes (preferably visually) how it works 3.A prominent search box where end users can search by Restaurant name, dish name, restaurant type, location and zip code 4. The list of all the restaurants that have signed up with restaurant icon/ name, an image, and buttons for menu, signature dishes, deals and restaurant info. Having location maps as part of this would be good to do. Once the user clicks on the map of the area, it should show the restaurants in that area. 5. A login button/ sign up button 6. Social media icons - facebook, twitter, email, googleplus and pinterest 7. At the bottom of the page we should have the following links: About Deals Locations Contact Us Restaurant Owners Page 2 This is the page you will go to when you have selected a restaurant. The top of the page will have the following info about the restaurant: a) Restaurant Info b) Hours and c) Deals Selecting each of these tabs will display more information about the title the rest of the page will have the menu with the prices. Each item will also have an optional description section. The menu will also have icons to denote spice level, vegan, gluten free. The description of these icons needs to be made on the top of the menu - for example a green chilly icon for spice level etc. There should also be an image icon so that if there is an image of the dish, it can viewed on clicking. When a particular item is chosen, a box should open up asking for any special instructions - eg no nuts, spice level etc. The right side of this page will have the shopping cart where the selected items are displayed as well as totaled. This shopping cart should also have the edit feature - ie the person can delete the item/s as well as change quantities. It should also have a button/ icon to denote 'my previous order' - selecting that will open up that order and it can be edited if required. There should be a sub total plus tax delivery charges if any. At the bottom the customer should have the option to choose delivery or pick up. If pick up, then of course the delivery charges will not apply. On clicking check out, the user is taken to a login page (if not already logged in) where he will be asked to login or login as guest (with the option to create an account later) Next it will take the user to a make payment page where the address for delivery is also displayed and is editable. Once the payment is made a confirmation page will open up and we will send the customer an email as well
