Aneley's design exceeded our expectations. Along with being the consumate professional and great communicator, her design was precisely what we needed. We would highly recommend her and will no doubt consult her on all future projects.
How Scott Morgan started their web page design journey
Columbia Valley Golf Trail
The Columbia Valley Golf Trail is a group of 9 golf courses (all located within a 40 minute drive of each other) in the beautiful mountains of British Columbia, Canada.
We're a remote destination - 3 hours from a major airport (Calgary, Alberta), but to get here our guests take one of the world's most beautiful drives through the Canadian Rockies and Banff National Park.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Golfers obviously. About 70% of our customers are men, but we get a lot of women, couples, etc. too. We get most of our business from rubber tire traffic within 6 hours. However, I want the site to speak to a global audience. I guess we’re really just targeting people anywhere who are golfers and looking to get away from their busy city lives.
Viewing our site should make people want to come see our location for themselves - and golf.
I need 4 pages designed. 1 homepage and 3 sub-page templates that should be very similar to the home page.
Things to think about:
1. The design should be a clean, simple, uncluttered design showcasing the natural beauty of our location.
2. Charming small towns, gorgeous mountain landscapes, an abundance of wildlife, and great golf really define who we are and what we offer our guests.
3. I’d like the design to not be entirely constrained within the center frame. I’d like the background to extend beyond the main frame of the site. I don’t want a dominant background image or anything like that. It can be subtle. I’ve provided a list of website designs that I like and show the type of style I’m looking for. The background should help convey the beauty and expanse of our mountain location. I’d like the center frame to be fairly wide.
