gjr419 got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Graphic Design for PHP based site
Check out gjr419's Web page design contest…
We had some difficulty showing the site but it's viewable now! I am using Drupal to create a content aggregation site (through RSS feeds) but would like a better design than the standard templates give me. Something that is slick, easy to find the content categories, and space available for advertising.
What's your vision?
Accepted File Formats: Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff) Check out the site at www.poopnotes.com to see what content I'm working with. It's very important that the content category buttons, along with some other features are prominent and easy to find. Ideally I will have a row of buttons for each content category, buttons for most popular indivdual feeds (ESPN, The Onion, etc), and maybe a couple others for specific content (highest rated, newest, random article). Right now it's really hard to figure out where each article is from. If there's a way to make it easier to see that, that'd be great. I'd also love to have the article, when it is in full view to be framed well, and space for advertising (300x250 on the right side above fold, 728x90 up top, with room to skin if necessary)
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Web page design starts at $799.
