Wonderful designer- stood out easily, very talented.
How subes02 started their web page design journey
I am the CEO and co-founder of a screenwriting software website called Scripped.com. One of my passions outside of my main business is drinking! Hence, I am launching a side project with a bar owner friend that will enable people to gift real (not virtual) drinks to each other.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Beer lovers, people who want to buy drinks for their friends for birthdays, people in their 20s and 30s in all likelihood. People in major cities for sure.
Please refer to the attachment for details on what should be on the homepage, but basically, I am looking for a homepage and a standard page template. I want something that can work accross all browsers, and be easily optimized into mobile safari by my developer. I am requiring everyone who uses this app to have a Facebook account, so Facebook connect will need to be available on the homepage. As far as inspiration goes, you can draw inspiration from the following sites whose design I absolutely LOVE:
I like the forms on Eventbrite.com
Color scheme-wise and logo-wise you should think about the hit AMC Television show "Mad Men". You can visit the Mad Men site on AMC to get a feeling for what I mean, but the color scheme and "feel" of the Mad Men site (and the drinking culture of the show) should be a component of your design. Feel free to think out of the box - if you can incorporate the "Shadow Characters" on the Mad Men site without making it see like a ripoff, then great. If not, a "shadow drink" might be an element you can consider.
Number of pages
I attached an example homepage wireframe, and an example "contact" page wireframe to this email. There are a few important details you should pay attention to:
The name of the site is Clinkup, NOT Beerbucks
The tagline should be: Because Real Drinks are better than Virtual Drinks
The picture on the homepage - instead of a screenshot, try to come up with something good here! Maybe a "shadow" picture of a drink?
Pay close attention to the forms - make them look like Event Brite?
