Check out Nexternal's Web page design contest…
www.Nexternal.com is looking for a talented designer to create a custom golf themed layout for our software demonstration site www.firstfairway.com. Checkout the breif and good luck!
What's your vision?
Desired Style: Clean, Classic, friendly, Sales oriented Accepted File Formats: .png and or .psp (must have layers) At Nexternal we use First Fairway to showcase our ecommerce software. Therefore our professionalism must be evident within our demonstration store. We have managed two prior sitepoint contests; www.sitepoint.com/marketplace/contest/1022 and www.sitepoint.com/marketplace/contest/1443 with great success and look forward to completing another. General GUIDELINES: 1. Width: 980px. Orientation; Center. 2. Top Tab Navigation; Clubs, Golf Balls, Golf Bags, Apparel, Accessories, Specials 3. Logo; Upper Left, feel free to refine as it's not firm. 4. Search Box; Upper Right (lower) 5. Link back to Nexternal.com; Upper Right (top) - This will reduce the disconnect between First Fairway and Nexternal when a prospective client (or unknowing golfer) visits the demo. This requirement is extra tough because this section needs to POP off the page, but not disrupt the rest of the idea. Link to Nexternal Logo here: http://host.nexternal.com/newsite/logo_tagline_color.gif. Removing subtext is OK, but do not modify. 6. Live Chat Button 7. Featured Products and Merchandising area should take up much most of the main content screen. (See List of featured products* at bottom, you do not need to use all of them). 8. Shop By Brand dropdown box. 9. Marketing; Free Ground Shipping on Orders over $75 10. Use some text content (title(s) and or description(s)) not just images for products. - This is an SEO concern not layout. 11. "Get on our email list" input box in footer 12. Footer Links Affiliate Program, Dealer Login, Help Desk, Gift Cards, Gift Certificates 13. As you design, please bear in mind the home page should be consistent with the "inner" pages. Meaning; if the homepage won't work for the inside of a store...it won't work. This leaves a huge amount of flexibility, but should be accounted for. Notes: Sites we like; Nordstrom.com, Shop.Callawaygolf.com, Gap.com, Store.Apple.com. We like clean friendly designs. Buttons - Feel free to submit button suggestions add to cart, checkout, etc. However, we may end up running a separate contest for those once the look of the site is dialed in. We look forward to seeing your designs and providing feedback.
