Community & Non-Profit

egaliHope is a nonprofit organization whose website's primary purpose is to allow compassionate Givers an opportunity to network with friends, family, existing social network contacts, etc., and contribute to small to mid-sized nonprofit Partners that provide specific projects aimed at building sustaining communities around the world. These projects would focus on the Essential Eight characteristics of Food, Water, Faith, Orphans, Economy, Medical, Education, and Infrastructure. With this mission, our target audience then consists of small to mid-sized nonprofit organizations seeking visibility and funding, and compassionate individuals (Givers) that want to have the ability to contribute to specific projects and through their myCommunity network, watch their overall impact on the world. We have not launched yet and what we currently have has not gone public and we need a new front end to get ready to launch.

The site should use shapes, colors, photographs, etc, that convey compassion, convey helping others, and convey partnerships to build and sustain communities around the world. It should be appealing to both a nonprofit director and a generous donor, without being distracting or focused on over-the-top imagery. The site should also represent diversity as projects submitted by our nonprofit Partners are implemented throughout the world. Would like an "earthy & organic" feel. Subdued color pallet but remains positive and "hopeful".

The homepage should introduce what egaliHope is intended to do. It should be simple, clean, organic look and feel, but positive and "hopeful". It needs to be able to articulate the benefit to givers, non-profits, and also place emphasis on our 100% model. Sliding windows are an option. Want to guide individuals to create their own myCommunity network and then choose projects to contribute to. Want to guide non-profit partners to the sign-up page and benefits page. Needs to be inviting, professional, and look expensive. We are also contemplating a short video (similar to the one used here on 99designs' homepage) to help explain what it is we do. The second page should be dedicated to stressing the Essential Eight categories and the projects that relate to each relative to creating and sustaining communities around the world. Please see the essential 8 page on our site and what those elements are. Open to changing all existing graphics. Each of the essential 8 will link to the projects we have in that category. This could lead to more work in the future as there are numerous pages that we will be addressing in the very near future. We want to help the world and want someone passionate about helping others through their work. This is a very important task . . .to get our graphics and site to connect to the compassionate and the doers of the world.

Please avoid using the term 'Donor'.

This concept, from a nonprofit standpoint, is unique, and to the best of our knowledge has never been done before. It will, in essence, create the first small and mid-sized nonprofit organization "social network". Givers will build their own social network, which they will then have the ability to watch the total impact of that network on projects to assist others in various ways around the world. The site design then, must match this concept in its own unique manner. We are open to changing all colors and graphics to better match our concept and theme. Imagine a world of adopting a project, sending to your friends via Facebook, growing a network like LinkedIn, watching your projects come to life by small non profits who do the work, seeing all of the projects people in your network have impacted. Non profits working together and pooling their resources together to get efficiencies; seeing each other, talking, connecting, and helping each other. myCommunity is our language for the network built by Givers comprising their friends, family, social network contacts, etc.  myHope is where both givers and non-profits can go to sign up and view their collective impact on the world (For example, the Givers go there to see how much they've given individually, how much their myCommunity network has contributed, the projects that their network has contributed to, etc.  Nonprofit partners myHope shows similar information relative to their own projects, funding received, other projects being conducted by other nonprofits, etc.)   This is a powerful tool!!
