I am looking for some stylish, sales orientated web site layout (homepage) for a musical instrument retailer looking to expand online presence. We got an existing website, but it really needs an update; a facelift if you will ;)
What's your vision?
The Setup DonMack.com is looking to build their website to be a major competitor in the online musical retailing business. The current website was redesigned some 4 odd years ago, but really needs to be updated for a more modern shopping website feel. Objective What we want to do is keep the basic feel of the website. It might be good to take a minute and go through the website to get a feel for it, we want to keep the "site within the site" feel to it. Basic layout of the site: At the top we need these buttons (not unlike what we currently have): "Home" "Schools" "Technical Support" "Search" and a shopping cart box. On the side, we need to keep the same feel as we have with links to all the different types of instruments. The homepage needs to look less busy but still have as much content is there now, or close to the amount. I don't know if thats possible; I hope it is ;) My customer feels that the homepage is helping him a lot with SE's. Hopefully this gives an indication of what we need. What's in it for you? $350 prize money; guranteed winner (barring we recieve nothing suitable; but we are relying on the great reputation SP contests have :) ) Wait, I have more questions! Here's some answers maybe, but if not post questions here, and ill get back as soon as possible. - We don't really have a logo besides what's there, you can be creative in tihs aspect
