The Very Good Food Co. is a plant-based food technology company. Our mission is to replace every food in your fridge with a plant-based equivalent that’s better for our bodies than what’s currently available. Food that’s better for the planet, for animals, and us. Our target audience is not only plant-based eaters but those who are curious about trying out plant-based foods or looking to eat plant-based part-time. Our primary demographic: Millennial Women & GenZ (18–45), and Younger Millennial Men (18–36).
The tone of our brand is positive, aspirational, approachable – not preachy, purposeful (heart driven but smart). Some styles/themes to explore are: plant-based, good for animals, food that makes people happy.
HOMEPAGE Intro: we want to communicate that we make awesome plant-based food that’s nutritionally great for you. Higher protein content, with all the vitamins and minerals missing from other plant-based packaged foods. About Teaser : this is a teaser section for the about page. Read “about” content. You could use this as a headline, “Fueling families to athletes, we’re creating better plant-based food options, readily available.” Method Teaser: this is a teaser section for the method page. Read “about” content. Ethos Teaser: this is a teaser section for “ethos” page. Read “ethos” content. You could use this as a headline, “From comfort food to charcuterie, we do plant-based differently.” ABOUT PAGE Mission section: To replace every food in your fridge with plant-based food that’s better for our bodies than what’s currently available. Food that’s better for the planet, for animals, and us. Rapid Growth Section: this section is about how quickly our company has grown. You can use the headline “From farmers market to world market in under 3 years.” Food Section: This is a teaser for the Method page. This section should focus on the food that we make. Consider this a teaser section for “method” page. We tease why we’re different, and link to the method page. METHOD PAGE We put a lot of research and development into making innovative foods. This section is about that process. Header section: Our R&D lab’s focus is innovation in the plant-based space. Our product goal is nutritionally dense and delicious food. Our Products section: We’re hard at work to fill your fridge with healthier plant-based options. And other recipes currently being perfected in R&D. We want to communicate that we are creating plant-based products to replace meat, dairy, eggs, and fish. ETHOS PAGE This page is about why we’re in the plant-based business. Header section: making the world a better place Planet Section: We believe replacing traditional protein agriculture with plant-based food will save our planet. And it’s our business to make it taste good so more people will try it. Animals Section: Good karma is good business. Animal welfare is important to us. We believe in keeping animals in nature and off our plates. Health Section: We believe you can thrive on a plant-based diet and are creating everything you need from food. From fueling families to athletes. To create high-quality plant-based food to satisfy every consumers needs nutritionally.
We want to communicate to the world that we are a big established company. The final design can use textures, illustration, or photography, but we need to avoid anything too cheesy or messy.
