OilPrice.com is a leading energy and finance site online. We publish articles and research on the energy markets, commodities and economics. We will soon be offering PR and promotional services to companies in the energy and mining industries.
Small to medium sized Oil & Gas companies – Mining companies (Gold, Copper, silver) and possibly small to mid-sized Alternative energy companies.
We will be looking to appeal to the Marketing Managers, PR people, CEO, Investor relations people in these companies.
The design itself must appeal to traders and investors who visit our site as we will be promoting their company to our visitors and we want people to read about them, their management and projects and hopefully invest or find out more.
PLEASE SEE ATTACHMENT (Design Specs) – Do not submit a design without reading – as it has all the instructions and examples.
I am looking to have a client page created for my website http://www.oilprice.com
What we will be doing is listing Energy & Mining companies (Oil, Gas, Solar, Wind, Gold, Silver, Copper) on the site and each one will have a separate page to showcase their company, projects and reasons to invest.
The page must look very neat and clean. It can’t be cluttered or too busy. But it still needs to show enough info to ensure people are interested in reading more.
The page should be as wide as the current http://www.oilprice.com pages are.
What we do need on the front page is a company overview: similar to the top part on: http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk…-1813.html
And the part on the left at:
I’m thinking of 3 columns – a wide middle section and a small left section with menu options and a slightly wider right hand section.
This isn’t set in stone – if you can make it work with 2 columns give it a go. The most important thing for me is feel – i’m open to ALL ideas at this stage
We will need to have the following stand out – maybe be boxes or some other way:
Latest company presentation
FOR THE REST OF THE INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHMENT: Design Specs
FOR FULL INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHMENT: Design Specs
What we need to achieve:
We want the page to be a home away from home for the companies – obviously they have their own websites – but we want ours to almost match them. I realise we can’t have the graphics and pictures they would have on their own pages – but they must look good.
We want visitors come to the page and want to find out more about the company.
This will need to be generic as we aim to have quite a few clients – so whatever you have in mind for one will need to work for all oil, gas, gold, mining companies.
If you want to use pictures, text, diagrams at the top of the page or the sides please do give them a go.
We also want people to click on the Investor pack, Why invest icons/boxes whatever you create or visit the companies homepage.
One other Thing:
This page will link to other pages about the company – basically it’s their OilPrice.com homepage. So whatever is put on here will need to work for other pages (Side columns) – so if someone clicks on FAQ, Management or another section they will be taken to a page which has different info in the centre but the same info at the sides.
The rest of the inx can be found in the attached word doc: Design Specs
This is how our competitors have displayed the company info of their clients. (I think their designs are awful) - Please see the attached doc: Design Specs for full info.
Companies with nice looking sites
Below are some links to sites that have things i like about them. They are all home pages of mining companies – But we are not looking to create home pages on the site – just take the best bits from them all.
