Accounting & Financial
We are an automated financial advisor service; we take client portfolios and give them personalized asset management advice.
We would like something serious, minimalist, and elegant. We would prefer a dark theme over a light one.
At the moment, we are looking for someone to re-design the main app dashboard (you can see it by going to markov.trade/signup and making an account; we don't verify emails yet so you can put anything in). We would like to preserve all existing functionality of this webpage (markov.trade/dashboard), just with a new, cleaner design. Specifically, this functionality includes: * The initial popup that asks a new user whether they have an existing portfolio or not * Navbar at the top with "upgrade", "stats", "settings", "logout", and also an 'alerts' icon * Portfolio returns graph with options for different timeframes * A simulate button, including the corresponding pop-up with all its options [and the clear simulate button] * Portfolio summary table (with add/clear position buttons), including all existing columns * Pop-up for adding a new position with all existing fields * Sector exposure and risk assessment dials/images * Recommendations table (with the generate/add position buttons), including all existing columns In addition, we would also like the following: * A pop-up that allows the user to choose between various brokerage integrations (e.g. Robinhood, TD Ameritrade, E-TRADE, Interactive Brokers), or the option to proceed without. * A display somewhere on the webpage for the total account value of the user * A display in the header bar for the 'recommendations' table that displays how many 'tokens' a user has remaining. * A pop-up that displays some text for when a user is out of tokens, and a button to purchase more tokens. * A notification window that drops down from the 'alerts' icon in the navbar, which displays information about a trade recommendation.
What to avoid
We would prefer a dark theme over a light one. Also, we want to avoid the red/green "Christmas color theme" that is typical of financial apps. We prefer sans-serif fonts.
The attached images depict the functionality described in the first set of bullet points mentioned in the description. There will be an opportunity for further work (including potentially full-time work) for the winner.
