Iain Nickalls needed a new web page design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 36 designs submitted by 11 freelance designers.
eDynamix
eDynamix is a start-up that offers SAAS applications and services to, primarily, the automotive industry. We provide powerful applications that are very easy to use and extremely cost effective. The eDynamix site will be used as a gateway to our “Vehicle Portal” where our applications will reside and accessed based on login credentials.
The application in the eDynamix portfolio, and which are accessed in through the Vehicle Portal, include a vehicle Service Plan tool (PlanDynamix), a real time, online booking system which includes courtesy car management (AppointmentDynamix), Reporting suite (ReportDynamix), vehicle auctions (TradeDynamix) and New and Used vehicle tracking and sales (SalesDynamix).
The contest is to design the home page and product/service information page for eDynamix (http://www.eDynamix.co.uk), and also to improve upon or completely redesign the current logo.
Follow on work will be available for design extensions plus a number of other website redesigns, such as http://www.myvolkswagen.co.uk.
eDynamix is the enterprise brand of our company with the primary target audience being Managing, Financial and Sales Directors, together with Sales and After Sales Managers within small, medium and large automotive organisations. The target audience may evolve over time but our primary focus is on these groups.
First and foremost, be creative! The only design stipulations are that it is uncluttered, looks professional and doesn’t include pictures of people.
We do require that the home page includes a login area for the Vehicle Portal, an area for “About Us”, links to “Our Services” and “Contact Us” and somewhere we can display news stories (fed from Twitter) and customer testimonials… The rest is up to you.
The product information, or “Our Services” page, should be sectioned into the products mentioned in the Design Brief, with scope to add more in the future.
The current logo for eDynamix is attached but, as mentioned previously, this can be modified or replaced as necessary, together with the colours to fit in with the overall site design/look and feel.
There should also be stylised Facebook and Twitter icons (possibly the cartoon bird if it fits with the site design) which will link through to the eDynamix profiles within those applications.
Entries must also be royalty free and not infringe other works (e.g. existing trademarks or copyrights) and provided in layered files ready for our developers to use.
Let me know if you have any questions!
