dputty123 needed a new coded website design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 8 designs submitted by 7 freelance designers.
I need a simple website designed to explain and sell t-shirts based on a design of my mom's to raise money for my mom's favorite charities in her memory. We found this image 2 days after she passed away from a long battle with breast cancer at the age of 52.
Tagline:
Buy a Shirt. Spread the Message. Make a difference.
Desired Style:
simple...inspired by
bustedtees.com and
designgive.com
more info and images can be found here:

The site will be very simple, and will have 5 sections. Ideally it will be based on a simple content management system or even wordpress so that I can update the pages with ease. I don't want it to look like a blog (like it does now) but instead to look like a site. I very much like the layout and design of:
I want our charities up top as shown on designgive.com (we can't use their logos, don't ask it's complicated)...supporting The Nature Conservancy and Living Beyond Breast Cancer. Directly beneath the charities should say "Buy a shirt. Spread the message. Make a difference" I want the first thing you see to be the large original all is well image, with 3 (men's, women's, black t's) large pictures of the tees directly below (like bustedtees has). When the t images are clicked it takes our visitors to the cafepress shop. I want just the words all is well (as shown in part of the tshirt design image) as the logo in the left hand corner (just like busted t's) and navigation tabs along the top (also like busted tee's). Beneath this I have background on the image, the shirt designs and the story etc. I can put this in later. The pages for this site are:
1.home/ main
2. About
3. spread
-I'm going to do some blog banners, and possibly even a simple facebook app (why not, huh?) So if you thoughts or ideas on this, feel free.
4. About the charities
5. Contact
I'll be happy to answer questions and explain more. This is a project near and dear to my heart, that will do good in more ways than one. I look forward to working with a talented designer who seeks to make a difference.
