Check out Romit's Web Page Design (Coded) contest…
My new project is an Proxy List site. Site would run on an custom coded php script. I am looking for highly professional and moder look. Read more for details.
What's your vision?
Tagline: Nothing as of now. You can suggest. Desired Color Scheme: Logo is blue/grey. But i am open to any colors as i can change logo colors. Desired Style: >Clean, Professional, Modern, Web2.0 >css used to make proxy list form more attractive. >maybe all links in footer (instead of nav bar) as explained in mock-up (though not sure) Accepted File Formats: editable layered .psd + css/html and anything else required for a website. Hello, General Idea about proxy list www.RequestProxy.com & www.ProxyRequest.com (nothing to see there at present) Whole idea of site is like this: There are many webmasters who run their own proxy sites (example: cqxin.com). And there are millions of such proxy site on the net. But, there are sites like Proxy.org and www.goodwaiter.com/english.php who are themselves not a proxy site.. but they provide list of other proxy sites on the net. Webmasters pay them to put their proxy site on the proxy list. (a kind of directory) I suggest you to first look at proxy.org to understand what this site will do. Our custom coded script has similar functionality though it is way more advanced at back-end. What i am looking for? If you see proxy.org you will see that the most important part of homepage is the proxy list itself. And that is to be give most importance. I love simplicity and adore professional, modern and web2.0 designs. following are the examples of site i like: 1. http://haveamint.com/about/demo simplicity and modern feel overall - i love this design. 2. http://phpfox.com/ Details and shades - i love this one too! 3. http://haveamint.com/contact look at the use of css to decorate border of contact form. I just love the way they make text area and input boxes beautiful using css. I would love effect like this on the proxy list form we will have on homepage. (This is IMPORTANT) Here is a mock up of what i want on homepage: http://cqxin.com/RP/Home-page.gif You can see i have used haveamint.com's page to illustrate my requirement. I request you not to copy it but use your creativity. Two things i like the most from haveamint.com is the way all links fit into footer and use of css to decorate forms. Here is logo: http://cqxin.com/RP/rplogo.gif Logo is using blue and grey. You are not required to use same colors because if design is good enough, i can change logo colors. so use your creativity. Also, homepage must have some place for ad banner. It can be 468x60 or 728x90 Use whichever you think goes well with your design. Looking forward to good entries. Will give more inputs if needed. Good luck. -Romit
