We are a ticketing software company with two problems: First, our current site look and feel is outdated and long overdue for a new look. Second we are launching a new product soon under a different name and need a corporate site for that product. We need a corporate look that will work for both companies, albeit with different logos and content. Our staff is great at writing the code for web page BACKENDs, but there is not a creative (artistic) bone in any one of our bodies. HELP!!
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: Colors that look good with our existing logos, softer colors would be nice IF they look good. Desired Style: Professional, clean, crisp, informational, NOT in-your-face and DEFINITELY NOT cartoony. Accepted File Formats: Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png); Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff); HTML with supporting graphics. We're looking for a modern, clean, professional, interactive look and feel, and are VERY interested in stock photos.Â Â We imagine some kind of tabbed design across the top, probably with the following tabs: HOME ABOUT US PRODUCTS SERVICES CLIENTS SUPPORT THEN, on each page, a provision for a sub-menu that would allowÂ visitors to navigate to other relevant sub-items within that master category.Â Â For example, theÂ PRODUCTS page would have a menu of products that could be clicked on, each leading to a product-specific page with more detail about that product.Â TheÂ SUPPORT page would have a menu of support options, and so forth. Somewhere along the top of the page needs to be room forÂ a logo and various marketing slogans.Â Â We love our logos - you can findÂ them at http://www.imagitix.com/logos.htm.Â Feel free to resize the logos a littleÂ as needed to fit into the site design. The surrounding site design should look comfortable and fit well with the existing logo colors.Â We will probably prefer designs with a clean white background. TheÂ current (worn out and tired)Â site design for PrintTixUSA can be found at http://www.printtixusa.com/.Â If you want, you can use this as a source for sample content. IMPORTANT:Â NOTE THAT we will want to use the same look and feel forÂ the web sites for both companies - PrintTixUSA and ImagiTix -Â so please make the design capable of switching back and forth mainly by just a logo change at the top of the page.Â The two products are close cousins, and may link to each other at some point.Â Obviously, the content will be different for the different products. Ultimately, we will do ALL the content, ALL the form design (where needed),Â and ALL the back end programming.Â Just give us a LOOK we can be proud of. Other thoughts: > We LOVE stock photos.Â We wouldn't mind if there was one on almost every page in the site.Â Contest winner will need to provide sourcing info for the photos used so we can license them. > OTHER THAN the stock photos, we like the idea of a design with a very low amount of graphics.Â It should load FAST, and tabs and menus should be TEXT-BASED so we can change them ourselves if we need to later on, ESPECIALLY the sub-menus. >Â VERY IMPORTANT:Â The design MUST be one that we can maintain ourselves in the long term.
