KerryPayne got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
Vintage Yacht Club T-shirt. Wooden runabouts, classic sailboats, wholesome fun, retro Maine.

We are looking for a vintage styled t-shirt for a fictional Yacht and Motor Boat Club set in Maine in the 1920's through to the 1950's-- "The Royal McCurdy Yacht Club". Think Flappers and Commodores on classic wooden Herreshoff sailboats. Or demure bikini clad girls on Chris Craft and HiLiner mahogany wooden runabouts, think pine trees and freshwater lakes and wholesome fun in the sun, take inspiration from Maine's tourism phrases "Vacationland" and "The Way Life Should Be"... I prefer illustration to photographs, however photos converted to single color screen prints can work if abstract.
Ideally single color screen print, could be front and back design or just one side. Aged. Made to look as though it's been well worn and kicking around since 1954, or 1924. Open to any and all designs you can conjure up from any era between 1920's to 1950's, with either sailboats, or wooden runabouts, or both! With or without people. Geometric or text. You'll see what inspires me from the many different examples I've uploaded. I would like it to say Royal McCurdy Yacht Club and Maine. Open to the Union Jack appearing or a crown as a nod to the 'royal' element.
