How Trey103 started their t-shirt journey
Who are you known as?
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Community & Non-Profit
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a non-profit organization that creates a beneficial environment for orphans women and children to break the cycle of poverty through education, nutrition, and social works(building projects).
Our primary focus is in Guatemala and we focus a lot of time on fighting acute malnutrition in children.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
A NEW T-Shirt.
We are in the beginning of a slow process of re-marketing a new logo. The 'orange plus sign' is key and will carry throughout everything we do design-wise from here on out. The color orange represents 'Malnutrition' in the non profit world. I'm also a big fan of using varying grayscale's for the shirt and ink, with the orange. But I am open to your interp.
We are a 10yr old non profit that has been known to have a more religious spin on our efforts, but we are making the leap into the non religious NGO(Non Gov Org) stream and want to carry our friend base and current donor base into this with us.
This is a rebranding effort...
Target audience- Youth and young adults(American Apparel freaks)
The message I want to get across is that when they see an orange plus sign it will relay their mind back to us and the great issue of 'malnutrition'. This is a 'social cause'
