Cdsimaro got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
CHAOS Retro T-Shirt Design
Check out Cdsimaro's T-shirt contest…
Yes, generally a retro style. But I recognize that can mean a lot of things and am open to different ideas. The kinds of retro styles that appeal to me are 50’s/mid-century Americana, 70’s disco, Art Deco, art nouveau, steampunk. But I’m open to anything that looks cool.
I would like an image that I could get printed on the front of a T-shirt but which would also work on the back of a hoodie. What I would like is a design logo of the word CHAOS with a smaller byline of “established 1991” or “est. 1991”. These are the initials of our family members. It could just be that text but if you also want to incorporate objects, the objects would be a road cyclist and an equestrian show jumper ( our family’s two main hobbies). I would consider designs that include mostly just text but also text that is in some kind of box or circle with additional designs or ornamentation around it.
What to avoid
It should be monochromatic. I would like to point it in white on dark shirts, but in black or a single dark colour on lighter T-shirts.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. T-shirt starts at $269.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their t-shirt.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Cdsimaro collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected 3 winners!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
