natickgoesgreen got their new logo & social media pack by running a design contest:
Recycle Right Logo

Recycling totes must be 3 ft from all obstacles
We provide recycling collection services for residents in a small town in Massachusetts, USA.
Our trucks use automated arms to collect 96 gallon recycling totes on a biweekly basis. The totes must have a 3 ft clearance on either side and no vertical obstructions. Unfortunately, residents are not aware of this rule and violations result in broken garbage cans, mailboxes and other items near the totes. We plan to post this logo on the sides of our trucks as part of a campaign designed to increase awareness and improve compliance. We've provided an image that shows the proper way of setting out recycling totes (dark grey), trash bags (light blue), textile bags (pink) and compost bins (green), which we would like to all be clearly reflected in the logo. It would also be great to show a mailbox, as they are a common obstacle. Cars and second recycling bins are another challenge (but we realize including all elements may make the logo too crowded). We've included a very, very rough suggested direction that could be pursued (it would obviously need to be designed), but we are open to all ideas that help us effectively communicate the 3ft spacing around the recycling tote.
