We sell craft products through online channels like Amazon in US. We plan to sell abroad within the next 2 years.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We need a logo design and box design for our first product. It's going to be a set of 20 Chalk Markers. We need packaging to include information like that found on Stardom Chalk Marker box listed on Amazon. In creating the logo, we'd like it to be transferable to other types of craft items as we add products to the brand. So nothing specific to the markers in the logo.
As for the box. We are thinking of something young and bold but timeless and showcasing the idea that we are offering variety of color.
After seeing a few proposals. We are now focused on black background on top of box with red or royal blue background at some point near or at bottom of box. This is just for the front panel. The 2/3 and 1/3 split doesn't have to carry around to sides and back of box.
Update: We added dimensions;
Also added Mark-up of front color layout. selling point in 20 quantity so need that to stand out. Also thinking of some sort of design pattern at top right to show off the color variety. Where colors in pattern or really bold and concentrated in the right top corner, but fade into the background as it fans out behind brand name and stopping before the "20 liquid chalk marker"copy.
There are several examples of chalk marker products for sale on Amazon website. We like the design of Stardom and Crafty Croc. We want that polished look, but we want to stand out. The black background is effective, but all the sellers seem to look the same. We are thinking of standing out a bit, while maintaining the polished look. Maybe a navy or royal blue.
