Description of the product
Our company, Terraboost Media is an out-of-home billboard company and marketing agency. Our traditional product is “hand sanitizing billboard” – please reference terraboost.com for more information and images. However, we’ve come up with a new product called “Phone Wipes” where we will distribute a package – that appears very similar to a pack of modern gum – in the cardboard, slim box, where individual packaged “phone wipes” will appear inside, along with some ads. We will place kiosks inside neighborhood businesses ,and these kiosks will dispense the phone wipes – small thin packs that are branded on the outside with our “Phone wipes” logo and Einstein-like character that contain ads inside. This outer shell (what we will print on the outer carton) is crucial that it appears fun, attractive, enticing, beautiful when pressed against glass window on kiosk (see image attached) . This is a consumer product which we expect hundreds of millions to be distributed /dispensed for free. The more enticing and beautiful and attractive it looks the more attention we will get. It needs to be bold and direct, offering the value proposition of “free phone wipes” Based on our research, there’s a massive perceived value of a free phone wipe – as everyone feels they need to do something about their dirty/filthy phone but very few take action – this solves the problem, in a free way. Keep in mind that it is also very important for the ads within the packaging to be highly visible as often as possible.
Description of the product target audience
Consumers of our product will be patrons of local stores and members of the community. The consumer is likely female, young to middle aged, and of middle to high socio-economic background.
We would like you to design the packaging for our phone wipe and business card combo pack. The package should look enticing to people passing by. The package should be designed in a way that all contents are highly visible after opening. The design quality of the package should be high so that consumers are likely to place it in their purse or pocket for later use. The front of the packaging should be minimalistic but clear about what is inside (perhaps utilize scientist character with phone). Back of package can explain stats about germs on cell phone, but needs to include our contact info so that potential advertisers can reach out to us. We must also include directions and warnings on back or side of package. We have included our current design as reference, but encourage more creativity. The idea is to make the product look as intriguing as possible.
What to avoid
We have included many examples of our current design, but please do not be limited by this. If your idea is different, please pursue it even if dimensions are slightly different. We want the product to be as enticing as possible, we only included our design to give you an idea of what the packaging should achieve. To be clear, we do not like the current design as it is too busy/noisy. We would like something much more clear with less noise, beautiful and soothing. We have already created the phone wipes single packages for them. We need the packaging that will hold 2 phone wipes and 5 business cards.
