Description of the product
CoolWay Gummies is candy without the guilt. With only 80 calories and 3 grams of sugar, candy lovers can go back to chewing on gummies without feeling guilty.
Description of the product target audience
Anyone who loves gummies but doesn't eat them because they are usually packed with sugar and calories. Our marketing will be geared towards the 18-35 year old demographic. This will be a very much online product so the target market will be discovering our product threw online social channels.
CoolWay ice cream is expanding into the healthy gummy category. We are looking to create our line extension by calling it CoolWay Gummies. This project is to have the packaging for this new product designed. The packaging is the same bag that smart sweets is using. For inspiration, please check out the following brands: Smart Sweets, Ghost Lifestyle, CoolWay, Halo Top, The Front: The front of the packaging should have our CoolWay logo at the top and then sweets added somewhere. I will leave it to the designers to create a fun and graphically appealing way to incorporate sweets close to or in the logo. We are looking to have the calorie count and sugar content front and centre kind of the way we do with our ice cream tubs. (please checkout our website and instagram for reference) Perhaps the calories can be in big on the left with a line on the right and the sugar content next to it. So basically you have the calorie count and sugar content next to eachother seperated with a line in between. This is a suggestion and I will leave styling in the hands of the designers. Aside from this, the front of the package should be fun and simple. It should be instagramable and appealing. There should be some appetite appeal in other words images of the candy. You can start with sour gummy bears and or peaches for the type of gummy and appetite appeal. The name of the type of gummy should be present somewhere i.e 'peaches' or 'bears' and the flavour should also be somewhere (unless its mixed flavours). The Net Wt candy 2 oz (56g) will need to be somewhere as well. You do not need to use this font but I added it here because many designers wanted to know.
