Yellow Spot Delias Chardonnay
Description of the product
We are launching a new Australian Chardonnay and are looking for a direct visual connection to the land down under. Our idea is pretty literal (we are not looking to create visual puzzles for our consumer and ARE looking to create a visually memorable brand). We are using a native butterfly as the identifying element. Can be quirky (think yellow tail wine) and iconic or heritage (think vintage old style mounted butterflies) or other. We are open to typographic, graphic, or illustration focused designs. The bottle will have a cork and tin capsule and will be a classic greenish chardonnay (burgundy) bottle. The price point for a bottle of this wine should be $20- $25 US. This particular chardonnay is oaked so it is round, bright and lush.
Description of the product target audience
This is for a US wine club in which the members receive a 6 pack of various wines produced and/or imported to the US.
bright, eye catching, warm hues. typography and design should be in harmony. There will be a front and back label. The front label design usually informs the back label design and so focus on the front label. Australian Chardonnay is more playful than a Napa, California Chardonnay. Please google "Australian Chardonnay" and take a look at the general clean, graphic styles and use of black, buttery yellows and light chartreuse. also search the "yellow spotted jezebel" butterfly to see what the iconic element should be.
What to avoid
no cartoons or clip art please. No aboriginal art or designs please.
