Description of the product target audience
Sold in supermarkets, Joseph Heler cheese is brought by people who want a quality cheese in their fridge, for use every day. 95% of households will have cheese in their fridge The main shopper is female (mum), but the cheese is consumed by all the family. Cheddar is the best selling product - 50% of cheese sales in the UK are for cheddar cheese.
A new label design - with stronger standout in-store. A clean fresh pack design, with less wording, and a stronger standout for the Joseph Heler logo. One design that can be transferred across the 4 different cheeses, where the pack colour changes to represent the different cheeses. - Cheddar (Extra Mature) - Red Leicester - Double Gloucester - Cheshire Lead design elements - Joseph Heler logo - strap-line "family cheese maker" - Union Jack / British Current pack design uses soft pastel colours, with a provenance / quality message. - this is good for small specialist retailers (farm-shops / delis). But what we now want a stronger image that has standout inside a large supermarket cheese fixture. Stronger brand imagery, with fewer words. Full colour print, potentially with an opaque window to see the cheese. FYI: The market leader for cheese in the UK is Cathedral City. www.cathedralcity.co.uk
