How Cfelice started their print or packaging design journey
The EZ Backrelaxer is a unique product designed to reduce or eliminate back pain. This is a small family company with plans to go global. We found a great invention and purchased the marketing rights. We are very new and need all the help we can get!
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
25 - 64 primarily. Any one with chronic back pain which includes young mothers, secretaries, construction workers, restaurant workers, hair dressers, you name it...
Not necessarily the older population as they may have difficulty laying on the product on the floor and getting up afterward.
Our product is a mold with ridges and pressure points. It is black. We have created a mold and an injection molding system. Works great for mass production but it does leave a "hickey" or "halo" on the top of the product. I need to "enhance" our current logo - or work with it - to fill a 4" by 3" space on the product which in doing so will detract from the halo. This will be done in ink. I would like it to be 2 colors, but where it would also look good with just one (for cost reasons). Color needs to look good on black.
I would like it to look somewhat sophisticated. Those samples I liked that had the "feel" I'm looking for included "woman" by be.unique, "Fitness" by Alex Spec, "Healthcare" by dhrumadae and "Spa Garden" by Deg. They all have broad brush strokes, similar to the tempurpedic logo, which is what I'm wanting, as the art will go on some sloped areas it needs to be "flowy"...
I am attaching our logo and also an artist rendering of what it looks like to have someone lay on the product. Pic of product also attached plus another local logo that was interesting to me. My objective is to fit into a 4 x 3 space in a balanced way (if I just put my logo there dimensionally it would be very small). This will be our "branding" on the product...
