C5 Insight needed a new print or packaging design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 17 designs submitted by 4 freelance designers.
We are a consulting firm that focuses on providing application development in the US. We use Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Salesforce.com and develop code in .NET.
Each year, we send a gift to our top clients, prospects and partners for St. Patrick's Day. This year, we are sending a "toolbox" containing 5 gifts:
* A pack of gum (with our brand on it)
* A small first aid kit
* An aluminum water bottle
* A small flashlight
* A pocket "multi-tool" (including a knife, pick, bottle opener and ruler)
The items will be delivered on a small cardboard box branded as the "C5 Insight Toolkit".
This project is to develop a 1 page cartoon, with 5 frames, that tells a story about the toolkit and the items in it. Each frame should relate to one of the 5 items.
Themes should include "luck" (this is central to St. Patrick's day and to one of our core processes), St Patrick's day (green, four leaf clover, etc), toolkit (the "team from C5 insight" can look like they are construction workers, wearing their hardhats and toolbelts - for example).
Our clients are business people (sales managers, chief financial officers, call center managers, marketers) and technologists.
Please see "Tell Us About Yourself" for a quick overview of this project.
The "story" above each of the 5 frames should be as follows:
TITLE: Adventures in LUCK
FRAME1: Our business was in a sticky situation, like when you step on a piece of GUM and it sticks to your shoe.
FRAME2: Reaching into our corporate FIRST AID KIT, we applied a band aid, but that didn’t help for long.
FRAME3: Still thirsting for a solution, like a BOTTLE OF WATER on a hot summer day, we called the team at C5 Insight.
FRAME4: Using their C5 Toolkit, they shined the FLASHLIGHT of their LUCK Process™ on the problem…
FRAME5: …and delivered a VERSATILE TOOL that was not only right for this project, but for many more to come.
CLOSE: Happy St. Patricks Day to our clients, friends and partners from the Team at C5 Insight!
Other items:
* Bold colors - using our logo colors where possible
* Adult characters in "serious" roles
* It should look "serious"
Test for frames should be in a "box" - not in "talking bubbles".
