TubeCities.com:  Upload Your City!  About the TubeCities.com Community

TubeCities.com is raising the bar in the world of online video. If you ask anybody that is familiar with or involved in the world of IT business, you’ll come to find that the buzz being generated around our recent launch of the beta website is everything but a joke. With an industry witnessing such an explosion in popularity amongst our consumer culture, it’s no wonder why each morning we’re reading about yet another company – whether it be new start-up, or a corporate giant – that is trying to jump on that bandwagon and catch the wave into the marketplace of online video. In just the past year, the sheer number of video based media sites has skyrocketed. If you do a little research, however, you’ll come to find that a majority of those video sites are identical in what they’re offering to their users; that is, a generic service allowing them to upload streaming video so they can share it with others. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that the only real difference amongst most of these sites is a matter of cosmetics, or what the IT industry likes to call their, ‘user-interfaces.’ They’ve realized the power of this growing industry, but they’re not going to get anywhere if they plan on being just like the rest. That’s just how it works. As for TubeCities.com, yes we do share one main recognizable similarity with most ‘other’ video based websites out there – in that we provide people with a user-based community, where they’re able to post videos for friends, family or the rest of the world to see. But, there’s a catch!

How it Works:  Grab Your Camera!

Everybody seems to have a digital camera these days. Even if you don’t have an actual digital video camera, the majority of digital snap-shot cameras have a video setting option.  Put your camera to good use by taking it with you wherever you go!  You never know when you might just end up being in the right place, at the right time, right? And with TubeCities.com, not only will you have that traditional pleasure of getting to show others what it was you captured on tape – but you could also end up with a significantly larger amount of capital in that bank account of yours.  Aside from those ‘spur-of-the-moment’ type video snippets, take the time to make other types videos as well. Film the events you like to attend, and the cities and countries you enjoy visiting – because chances are that others out there will enjoy some or many of the same things you do!

The more video content our users provide, the more exciting things are bound to get. So, whether you’re vacationing in France, or on a business trip in China, - grab your camera and share your life with the rest of the world!  After uploading your video(s), just select the category it falls under so that other users can easily access it, and you’re done! Easy as that.

Earn Points for Company Shares!   Let’s start with the basics, shall we? When you post a video on TubeCities.com, users who view it have the ability to rate how much he or she likes your video – and yes, this rating is done through a point system. However, our point system is not set up like those you find on the ‘other’ websites.  This point system is one of a kind. Obviously, the higher your videos rate, the more points you will receive. But here’s the catch we mentioned earlier: As for those points you earn - well they translate into potential shares of stock in the company – which you would then have ownership over.   Yes, you read it right. If you’ve got what it takes to create videos that others enjoy watching, than you’ll have the ability here at TubeCities.com to pad your wallet. How much can you make exactly? Well that’s entirely up to you.
