lidia i got their new poster by running a design contest:
Create a FUNdraising poster for OUTRUN CANCER
Check out lidia i's Poster contest…
We organise running events to raise funds for cancer prevention. Our flagship event is the Corporate Treadmill Marathon, a fun challenge that sees work colleagues running 42.2km as a relay in less than 4 hours. This is a great team bonding experience and really a lot of fun! The rules of the event are simple: 42.2km on a treadmill teams can have between 4 and 21 participants 4 hours to complete the challenge Prizes for the fastest team and highest fundraising (team and individual) The event will run in 4 different venues around Sydney on March 18, 2016
What's your vision?
A poster for people who have signed up to our Corporate Treadmill Marathon to put up in their office. The purpose of the poster is to: - Let others know about their challenge - Give some info about the event - Ask to donate to their team The poster should read something on the line of (this is just an idea, please feel free to add your own, it certainly needs more pizzaz..) "(Team details) A section where the name of the participants can be added (this can be done by the team members once they print the poster) are TEAM ..... (leave blank to enter Team Name) We will be running 42.2km on a treadmill in less than 4 hours to raise funds for cancer prevention Help us reach our fundraising goal of $.... (leave blank to enter amount) with a donation! " The team pages where people can donate have all a standard URL with only the team number that changes at the end. For example https://www.outruncancer.com/challenge/team/view/115 So it would be great to include on the poster at least the prefix "outruncancer.com/challenge/team/view/" , to send people to the donation page (the team number can be entered separately). And perhaps add something like "Come cheer for us" and the event date and venue: Friday March 18, 2016 from 1pm venue A note about venues. There are 4 locations, details are listed here below. This means we will need 4 versions of the same poster, one for each venue. GOODLIFE HEALTH CLUB King Street Wharf 1 Shelley Street Sydney NSW 2000 GOODLIFE HEALTH CLUB L4, 1 Martin Place Sydney NSW 2000 THE ZONE FITNESS FIRST 94 King Street Sydney NSW 2000 FITNESS FIRST CLUB 1 Elizabeth Plaza North Sydney NSW 2060 For the background you can use photos of previous events, which can be found here: https://www.outruncancer.com/gallery/ (Preferably one from 2015 as the brand colour for the t-shirts will now remain green, but it can also be just a detail of a picture or a stock image of a runner on a treadmill..) Files will need to be print quality and provided in high quality jpeg as well as .psd format so we can make minor customisations if required. Thank you!!
More info about the event can be found at https://www.outruncancer.com/corporate-treadmill-marathon/ or on this video: http://youtu.be/HTxw5GUU8pE
