Hamburg Airport is the largest airport in northern Germany, with a total of over 13mio travelers passing through on an annual basis.

We would like your help to design a poster that advertises a direct flight route from Hamburg Airport (Germany) to New York City Newark Airport. The aim of the poster is to target business customers from Hamburg and increase sales of the airline which operates the flight. The poster should be inspiring and create an Ah-ha effect since most business travellers from Hamburg currently fly to Munich or Frankfurt first before catching a connection flight to New York. You are encouraged to work with pictures that are modern & fresh and very visually appealing. As inspiration, we encourage you to use pictures with some of the following characteristics: urban, natural, lively, authentic, not-commercial, no direct eye contact if people included, use of destinations (Hamburg, New York). As Hamburg is a maritime city with a large port the colours blue and red play a central part in the visual identity. It would be great if these colors where visually present in the pictures. We would love to get your input on how to twist city and travel related pictures and make them really stand out, feel free to experiment with collaging of different pictures or whatever you see as really standing out to the business segment! Please see the attached mood board for style references. The flights operate on a daily basis and is extremely convenient for business travellers for the following reasons: 1. It’s a direct flight so no changing required. This saves a lot of time! 2. It leaves Hamburg in the early morning and gets business travels into New York before Lunch. On the flight back, it leaves New York in the late afternoon meaning that business people can have meetings even on the day of departure. 3. They can gain the same reward miles as if they were to travel from Frankfurt or Munich airport (these are other German airports). Headlines On the poster there should be one headline. Here are a few headlines that you can work with, but we also highly encourage you to provide your own. It is very important that the headline is catchy, short and to the point. “Do. Not. A1 format: 594 x 841 mm, 200 DPI resolution. The bottom third of the poster will need to follow a standard design, see attachment, the top 2/3 are for you to design.
