What's your vision?
this contest will run until COB Wednesday 11/30. If you are going to submit, please send art soon, so I have time to review, and give feedback. I will pick a winner Thursday. Thanks a 7 3/4" w x 5 3/8" h 2 sided Holiday insert for our holiday card for our clients. The insert will tell clients about the charitable organizations we volunteered at and donated to this year. the volunteer work that we did and the donations that we made were on behalf of our clients, and constitute our holiday gift to them. I have in design 6, not cloud, so please make files compatible with this version as I may need to change the copy or make minor adjustments. If you are including stock imagery, that will require additional payment, please include the price along with your designs. I would prefer to not take on additional cost for the design. thanks
the insert will be 2 sided, the front will be about the holiday art. it could incorporate the organizations logos or not, but I will upload those to the contest. the idea is that our volunteerism and donations are the clients' holiday gift. the back side will be more copy heavy, and also could include the charitable organization's logos or not, could be as straight forward at the logo, with a space next to it with the copy about what we did or not. up to the designer. also, I have a fair amount of copy for the back, so including the logos may not be possible or make sense if they are too tiny to read. Open to any way to tell the story as long as the card looks good. front copy: Season's Greetings! Throughout the year, we worked to identify and support causes with personal connections to our amazing clients. These are the charitable efforts we made on your behalf in 2016: • Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children Beep Baseball May 24 Waldron volunteers helped the school put on an all star event for their special needs students. The kids were cheered on by a packed house of family and friends as they played baseball on their new miracle league field, with live broadcasters doing play-by-play in a great stadium atmosphere. Everyone there was thrilled to watch the kids shine. • Jubilee Soup Kitchen Lunch service August 5 Waldron volunteers cleaned the kitchen and service area, prepped food for the day, unloaded and stored deliveries, and served guests lunch. We also assembled and delivered 30 gift bags with personal items and toiletries. • Pittsburgh Community Services, Inc. Seminar for clients and staff October 6 PCSI supports the working poor in Pittsburgh, providing training, organizing job fairs and bridging the food and clothing gap. To provide clients and staff with some financial tools and education, we conducted a custom seminar focused on long term goals, saving strategies, insurance, and the real value of a will. • The Stained Glass Project Laptops provided November 11 We sent four new laptops for students participating in The Stained Glass Project’s after school arts and cultural education program. The laptops will be awarded to hard working kids who are heading off to college, but lack the funds to purchase this critical tool. • The Bradley Center Holiday feast December 6 Bradley provides education, treatment and care for Pittsburgh youth dealing with trauma and mental illness, and we were happy to serve students and staff a splendid holiday feast. We also gave each student a gift card, and fulfilled each of the four residence hall’s holiday wish lists, providing Xbox consoles, games and controllers. We wish you and your family the best this holiday season, and sincerely thank you for letting us be a part of your life.
