I want a postcard to promote my mobility 1-on-1 training. I am open for all kind of suggestions, but what I have in mind is something that is very clear, so that people easily can relate, so that when they see the card, they will think “oh yeah, I know that feeling”. If you are able to get some humor in there too that would be even better, but that is not the main point.
A lot of my clients are macho men so the card should not be too feminine. Perhaps there can be a male and femal cool “stickman”
It does not have to be a stickman, it could also be a cartoon, but the character should be fairly simple.
So, for the postcard “stickman” should be in an anatomical wrong position and this will show where he will get pain. I will attach pictures of this so you can see what I mean.
I was thinking it would be nice if there was a little bit of a character (eyes, hair or something) to “stickman” so that in the future I could make a series of postcards with him, and maybe use the character for other things. Maybe his name can be funny?
“Sticki the stickman” at work sitting at his desk; running; texting on his phone;
Maybe it could be like a cartoon strip with all the 3 positions on the one card.
The idea with the postcard is that it should be clear and direct so that you can recognize yourself, and the flip side will get you to chuckle/ laugh a bit. The idea is that this will make people want to pass it on to their friends, colleges etc
I do not know if you only design the front side of the card, but either way just FYI.
The backside of the card will be a bit funny, something like:
Please circle the appropriate (more than one should apply)
Hello /dear/ Hola / ciao / Hey, listen up! / Aiiii caramba!
friend/ college/ darling/ stranger on the bus/ amore / mr bossman /dude
I saw this card and:
thought of you / thought this could be for you / had to give it to you
as you are:
always/ sometimes/ often complaining / talking about your shoulder/knee/ back /neck pain
the super cool dude/dudett who always wants to be ahead of the game
Pre-hab instead of re-hab.
Info for the pics:
1. Heelstrike. There should be an image of a stickman/cartoon running in an anatomically wrong position = heelstrike. As you will see in the pic I have attached, it should show that stickman is hurting in his hip, knee, and ankle.
2. Deskjockey. The xray deskjockey highlights a lot of problems. I would like the deskjockey stickman to have pain in his neck, upper back (Thoracic spine) in between the shoulder blades, and have strongly internally rotated shoulders.
Also check out this link as this is similar to what I have in mind http://standupkids.org/orthopedic-problems/
3. Texting. The standing texting stickman should have pain in his neck (almost as if his head was about to fall down onto the ground) and hands.
For inspiration on what (I think) a cool cartoon character looks like check out Deskbound on Youtube or click the link
The running and deskjockey images are the most important ones.
1 card with 1 image?
1 card with the 3 images?
1 card per image?
A comic strip with 2 or 3 designs in one?
The mobility 1-on-1 logo should also be on the card.
