The McNair Law Group is a boutique planning law firm devoted exclusively to estate planning and asset protection, special needs planning, business planning and related areas. We help families and business owners protect their assets, preserve their legacy and ensure the security and well-being of themselves and their loved ones for generations. We serve families of all kind, but are building a niche serving parents with minor children (ages 15 and under) and parents of children with special needs (all ages). The majority of our clients in this niche are between 30-45 and have a net worth of $1 million of more. They are typically married couples (or single moms) and own a home. At least one person in the couple is a professional or business owner. They love their children and want to be proactive in ensuring the well-being of their children no matter what life brings.
What's your vision?
I would like to have a print ad designed for a local publication. The dimensions of the ad is 5 x 7.875. The purpose of the ad is to make an offer for a copy of my FREE Kids Protection Planning Guide; a 15-page document that discusses the estate planning essentials that every parent (with young children) needs to know and lays out a 9-step action plan for Parents to get started planning for the safety and well being of their children no matter what. The ad will drive traffic to a landing page where the parents can request the guide. It should also include a QR Code that links to the landing page as well as a toll-free number that parents can call to request a copy of the guide. I would like the imagery of the ad to really elicit an emotional response and tug at the viewers’ hearts but not be TOO heavy -- similar to the attached Haslam Law Flyer. I really like how the photo draws the viewer in but isn’t too heavy or dramatic. In fact, use of this exact photo would be great if it can be secured. I also really like how the heading grabs the readers attention and make you want to read more. Please be sure to incorporate the heading and make it really stand out. Additionally, I really like several elements of the attached Wear Clean Under Ad. In particular, I like the FREE Book bursts as it is clear what is being offered and that the item is FREE. I also like the footer information where you lists the book request information and the hotline phone number where the guide can be secured. Those two elements MUST be included, along with the Attorney Advertisement notice. I would also like my company information included at the bottom including: • Name • Address • Phone number • Website • Location of additional offices As far as colors, I am attracted to a soft yellow as the primary/base color with accent colors coordinating with the guide cover (see attached). However, I am open to other creative ideas here. Aside from the above mentioned requirements, I would like the designers to feel free to ad any creative elements to the design. Note: I have attached the copy that I would like included on the ad. The document also contains the company information, landing page information and guide request hotline.
We are a modern law firm with a relatively young audience (ages 30-45). We are branding the firm as being different from the traditional experience (kind of like the old Mac v. PC ads) so please do NOT make a traditional law firm ad or use any cliché legal imagery (i.e. gavel, scales of justice, or any other traditional imagery that comes to mind) – that is NOT what the firm is about or the image that we wish to portray. Any such designs will be immediately eliminated without comments. *Also, this ad MUST be completed by this Monday, February 16, 2015. Please DO NOT enter this contest if you will be unable to meet this deadline. Finally, I love questions, so please feel welcome to ask away if you need clarity on anything.
