Mobile aviation UI needs your professional touch

We are building a mobile app that will be used internally to collect data from the field.

Format: Adobe XD Target user: Helicopter pilots in remote areas who fly various jobs such as fire suppression, mining, oil & gas exploration Job Stories: Each day, I want to update my daily report (e.g. workday, travelling, vacation, etc.), so that the accounting dept can calculate my payroll. When I finish a flight, I want to record the flight hours on the flight report, so that the accounting dept can bill the customers. When I pay an expense (e.g. hotel, fuel), I want to record the expense and take a picture of the receipt, so that I can submit for expense claim. Every two weeks, I will check my paystub and reimbursed expenses against my records, so that I can verify the correct amounts are paid. Tasks: Unless you have an amazing idea to redesign the app, I'm actually just looking for incremental improvements to the existing design to make it a bit more: - Professional - Modern - Simple and minimal - Standardize font, components, radius, colors, etc. - Fix, adjust or change any UI or UX elements that need it - If deemed necessary, improve the user experience. Following is some business logic: - Each day, the pilot must update his daily report. - On a given day, there can be 0 or more flight reports. Normally there are 1 or 2 flight reports each day, each flight report is created for a different client. - On a given day, there can be 0 or more expense reports (it's very rare for there to be more than 3 in a given day). - Pilots must submit a weekly report every Sunday that consists of a group of daily reports, a group of flight reports and a group of expense reports for each day of the week.
