Logo design for a video game with a very bleak atmosphere

Original Studios is a indie game studio working on a new survival game called Blight

I need a logo design for the game name, "Blight". The game is set in a medieval-esque time period, with a disease called the "Blight" that slowly starts growing and taking over the world. The general atmosphere of the game is very bleak, like there is not much hope to survive the ever-growing Blight. I want that to be conveyed in the title somehow. General sense of dread. The Blight currently shows up as clouds in the game with a yellowish-green color seen in the attached screenshot of the game. I'm thinking that color should be incorporated in the logo in some way, maybe in one letter, or all, not sure. Maybe showing up as a "corruption" of the letters to show it slowly turning diseased and almost rotting away. I attached a super simple and temporary game icon I threw together in Photoshop, incorporating the Blight color. I picture the final icon for the game being a "B" in the same style as in the logo. Also attached the logos for some other games that have the style I'm kind of going, in terms of font at least.
