JAG KK got their new other graphic design by running a design contest:
MAPS OF JAPAN
Check out JAG KK's Other Graphic Design contest…
We are in need of maps of all 8 regions of Japan for our website. HOKKAIDO, TOHOKU, CHUBU, KANTO, KANSAI,CHUGOKU,KYUSHU,SHIKOKU
What's your vision?
Accepted File Formats: Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff) These map images are for a tourism website. Images should be colorful and high-res. so we can resize if necessary. We aren't interested in SATELLITE PHOTO maps. Each map should be the same size. Approximately 600 pixels as largest dimension(either length or width) All city names aren't necessary but some of the larger city names would be nice. It would be nice to see where the mountains and valleys are but not a must. See this link as an example: http://encarta.msn.com/map_701513461/Japan.html It's OK to see parts of the surrounding regions in the image if necessary but the selected region should be in center. Please submit your design for one region (HOKKAIDO, TOHOKU, CHUBU, KANTO, KANSAI,CHUGOKU,KYUSHU,SHIKOKU). The winner will then have to submit all 8 regions to collect the $ 150.00 prize. Thanks much!

It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their other graphic design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
JAG KK collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
